Our Training

Our priorities

Each of Crown Theological Training’s tracks is committed to the same four training priorities.



Heart

Jesus tells us the greatest commandment is “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your mind” (Mt. 22:37). Above all, we seek to nurture within our students a growing, whole-souled love for God.



Character

Godly character is grounded in worship. Working with the local church, we aim to shape leaders who imitate Christ, are above reproach, and prove to be examples to the flock.



Skills

Because God’s Word is forever relevant, we seek to impart a Biblical philosophy of ministry. We emphasize foundational ministry skills like expository preaching, prayerfulness, shepherding families, discipleship, and evangelism.



Knowledge

We want our graduates to hunger to know God, His Word, His world, and themselves. We ground them in Bible and sound doctrine as a foundation for their ministries. We seek to model a love for learning that lasts beyond graduation, and throughout life.
